Ralph Steadman

Ralph Steadman is most widely known for his pen and ink drawings in the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." The reason i am so attracted to his drawings is his abstract view of reality. Ralph Steadman re-illustraded Alice in Wonderland, in this series of works he defiantly brought out the dark side of the novel. He displays a beautiful use of line, from the outline or the characters to the use of shading using line. Steadman brings out the personalities of each character perfectly. If you have never heard of this artist or seen any of his work i defiantly suggest you check him out!
