Before the Sun After the Confusion
Before the sun was a piece cleverly created by using two projectors facing the east and west corners of the room at the midway art gallery. The projector facing the east corner was of the sunrise in what I think is supposed to be Africa. The screen showed people either walking or running across the screen as the clips moved forward the sun got higher. On the west corner the screen showed the sunset also set in Africa. The screen showed a man or a young man running across the screen and a child and a woman walking with her child. As the clips moved forward the sun got lower. Both clips repeated themselves over and over again and with every repeat something new was discovered whiched helped clear up some parts of the confusion and added to others
